Our smoked cheeses are one of the finest original blends made right here in Montana. For years, it has been a heavily demanded staple for friends and family as they believe it is to be one of the best cheeses they have ever tasted. Now, we are bringing it from our family to yours.

HOW WE DO IT

Our cheeses are “hot” smoked for six hours using only the best western apple and cherry wood, being turned every hour. The combination of old traditions and new technology allows the aromatic flavor of the premium wood to produce a rich smoky flavor that truly penetrates the entirety of each cube of cheese. Before the smoking process, our cheeses are hand cut into 1/4 lb cubes, producing easy to cut slices that are packed with smooth creamy flavor that melts in your mouth.
A 1/4 lb cube will provide roughly one plate for an appetizers.

  • SMOKED CHEDDAR

    Our Smoked Cheddar is the real deal. It looks you in the eye and doesn’t beat around the bush. It is hot smoked over a combination of apple and cherry wood in a traditional western-style which brings the raw artisanal cheddar flavor to life. The flavor can be described as smooth, savory, outdoorsy and proud. With hints of salt and rich smoky tones, it does extremely well when added to a Mac and cheese dish, melted over a sandwich, or used as a topping on loaded baked potatoes.   • SMOKED WHITE

    Smoked Wisconsin White brings the best of both worlds into a creamy delicious cheese that is a staple in smoked cheese cuisine. The cheddar is young, giving it a mild flavor that acts as pleasing, smooth base for its sweet and smoky overtones. It develops its flavor during the six-hour smoking period, being turned every two hours and carefully monitored. This ensures that the entire block of white cheese is enhanced with the sweet apple and cherry wood smoke, making it a versatile cheese that fits in anywhere.   • SMOKED JALAPEÑO

    Our Smoked Jalapeño Cheese was meant to be smoked! It is smooth and supple, making it the perfect home for two very strong matched flavors - smoke and heat. The Smoked Jalapeño combines the mellow buttery texture and taste of white cheddar cheese with freshly chopped spicy red and green japaleño peppers, a special seasoning mix, and a long and slow smoking process. The way we smoke our jalapeño cheese ensures that the fresh peppers are accented by the smoke, allowing it to sink into the soft cheese and create a beautiful brown smoky crust on the outside. Our Smoked Jalapeño cheese is a fantastic creamy and peppery addition to grilled cheese, tacos, burgers, or homemade sausage.

STORAGE TIPS

Our smoked cheeses will come vacuum-sealed to ensure peak flavor and freshness. When opened, the cheese can be good for up to 3 months as long as it stays refrigerated.
Do not freeze the cheese. Freezing the cheese will adversely affect the quality and texture of the cheese.
